Trillium Gallery
The Trillium Gallery, located at the
Switzerland Inn, features a distinctive
assortment of American handcrafted
jewelry, pottery, blown glass, stained
glass, wearables, wood, metal, and
decorative crafts by local and
nationally known artists. This is our
21st year in business.
You can now shop online and year-round
at
www.trilliumgalleryonline.com.
The Trillium Gallery is located across
from the entrance of the Main Lodge.
We feature Howard Pearson's watercolor
paintings of the Blue Ridge Parkway, as
seen from various overlooks.
Discover jewelry of mixed metals,
stones, and fossils, uniquely created by
Nancy Fleming. It is jewelry you will be
proud to wear. Terri Logan uses river
rocks and sterling silver to create a
natural earthy look that is handsome and
strong. Each rock has an energy or
personality.
Fred and Janis Tate
collaborate their work with precious
metal jewelry. Their work is bold, and
yet elegant. Jennie Keatts works with
pottery and gem stones to create a very
artistic line of mixed metal jewelry.
Love pearls? Wait until you see the
pearl and sterling silver jewelry by
Rebecca McNerney—you will want to wear
these everyday. The clasps are so lovely
you will want to wear them in the front.
See functional pottery, which is
non-toxic and durable enough for daily
use on the table, in the oven and
dishwasher, turned and hand built by
David and Sheri Hoffman, Sarah Rolland,
Rob and Beth Mangum, and Maggie and
Freeman Jones. Fun Pottery by Laura and
Mark Evangelista will brighten your
table and delight your guests. They use
bold colors of red, black, yellow, blue,
and green. Find large raku pears and
apples, and other pottery by Don
Williams. Mike Taylor's bamboo handled
vases are a knockout. He creates other
fine pottery such as platters and wall
hang sculptures. You will enjoy our
large selection or functional
and fun
pottery!
To coordinate with the pottery there is
a unique line of loose and fluid blown
glasses by Prentice Hicks that come in
5 sizes and 9 colors. They are
colorful and fun to use; your guests
will love them. Enjoy seeing blown glass
fruit and veggies by David VanNoppen,
Thames Glass, and Luke Adams.
Enjoy Christmas ornaments year-round
with clay animals dressed for all
occasions by Janice Butler. Blown glass
ornaments by Little River Hot Glass,
Theo Keller, Young Constantine, and Luke
Adams are also available.
Sculptural figures and reliefs of terra
cotta by Rodney Shaw are collected by
many, and so are whimsical clay animals,
birds, angels, Noah's ark, and nativity
sets created by Janel Lund. Janel's work
is as much fun as the artist herself.
See lifelike clay animals by Patricia
Simons.
Judy Rand creates wooden sculptures in
various sizes and shapes. Some will
cover a whole wall, while others are
just a small cat looking at its
reflection in a mirror.
